For those who are new to trolling: Setting your boat up for big water trolling
Every year we get a new batch of people who are looking to get into the big water trolling game. Who can blame them for wanting to be a part of it? But for those of us who have been doing it for many years, we likely have our boats set up for it by now. I know that when I first started, my boat was far from ideally rigged for trolling. It took me lots of trial and error to figure things out.
Here's an article that I wrote on this topic. It covers the safety items and the fishing related items. Again, this is aimed at those who are new to this game but anyone is free to check it out.
Cheers, Mike Schlimgen (aka Slimshady)
