    Default 11/10 Huron report day 3 with WI/IL crew

    We launched at Huron at 6:45 and went straight out to 38’ of water and set up bandits 50 back no weight 50/120 2 oz and 50/80 3 oz did the work at 2.0 mph the fishing was very good we had 40 fish by 11:30 today. Back at it tomorrow morning before the rain and wind.

    2017 North river seahawk 25. 27' long w/yamaha 300 and 9.9 kicker. Full garmin electronics package including 12" gps and chirp sonar, radar with satellite weather and radio, autopilot for main engine and TR1 autopilot for kicker has a private porta potty and seating for 8 under the roof.

    Capt Sam,when you are running cranks unassisted,with 2 and 3oz weights.What position do you run them in,in relation to inside to outside boards.P.S. good luck bow hunting.

    Unassisted go farthest from boat weighted go closer longest leads farthest away in each category. So an example running 4 boards on one side the farthest would be 120 unassisted then 80 unassisted then 50/120 2oz then closest would be 50/80 3 oz that’s how I run them and have very few tangles you do need to leave a slightly larger space between unassisted and weighted boards because the weighted boards will run back a little more than the unassisted.
