Anyone fishing after the morning rain?

Am I the only one waiting for the rain to stop to go fishing?

Fished for perch today at Niagara. Lots of boats. Left Anchors Away marina at 8:30 and was back by 12:30 with 30 fish, 11 pounds.

Can I ask-On the reef or in the deeper water around it?

Not on the reef. Near by, 29'. Probably 50 boats.

Went out today also... slow start, but moved over to the intake and landed 30 nice sized perch! Getting closer to the fish fry!

Speaking of fish fry.... anyone got a great perch recipe?

If your coming out of anchor point-check with the local bait shops. there have been fish much closer than running that far east.
Try Butch and Denny's they usually have good bait and the best info.
