Default 6/15 trip report with WI crew

Today was an interesting day in the lake started out with a ride In 4’ waves we set up and had to fish the trough, not that fun. Made a pass and boated 15 tried to turn around to go back and set up again and mother nature wasn’t having it. Took a wave that went over the top of the North river. She handled it with no problem. Decided it was time to search for protected water. Picked another 5 before calling it a day. Very rough lake today for this diehard WI crew. We are even on limits since we where over 4 yesterday. Back at it tomorrow morning to finish out their trip. Fished flickers and worm burners 100-50 back speed all over the place.

What is a worm burner? is it a live bait rig or a stickbait?
    Thank you

A worm burner is a stinger spoon with a few extra beads and a 2 hook harness behind it for rigging a night crawler. They work pretty good at times

We started using worm burners 3yrs ago and they worked really good the past two years. This season the harnesses have done better than the worm burner so far.
