5/7 am trip report
Morning trip was a rough and quick one In 4’ waves. This ohio crew was in town to catch some fish and have a fish fry. They said get us back in by 10:30 am with 20 fish and we are all set. Well we made that happen for them. They had a timeline to get to their reunion location for a big fish fry. Talk about some pressure...walleye or fish stick!!! We boated them 20 nice fish with a couple just under 9 lbs. we only had lines in the water for 3 hours. it calmed down just about the time we wrapped up. Fun morning running and gunning almost like tournament fishing 😁 We ran north of Kelley’s bandits 120-55 back and they all caught at 2.0 mph average as it was all over the board with the waves.
