I waited for the sun to come up today and start to warm the air just a little so we launched at 8 am after the masses of boats got on the lake and out of the way. we put the heater in the boat for this trip which really makes the cold mornings rather comfortable in the cabin. Old man Joe sat in there all day in his sweatshirt sucking up the heat we sent straight out to 47' of water and trolled northeast with the waves. It was a double and triple kinda day with weighted bandits back 100' to 70' with 50' leads. 1.8mph was best and dj customs white perch smoked them again. as well as beetle juice and gold with black back. Those baits have been fantastic for me the past month. We boated a nice 5 man limit of fish in less than 4 hours today with Chrissy and Mike from MI and Joe and Mike from Toronto OH. We had a lot of fun on this trip and the action was fantastic. looks like several blow days are going to mess the lake up we will see what the future brings us.
