port clinton
wondering if anyone is doing good on the walleye at port clinton? i fished with hog alert last april and did pretty good.i bought a 17 ft. procraft last summer and wanted to know if it is enough boat for the big water? i live in ft.wayne in. and any info would help me save a lot of money on gas. thanks and tight lines to all

Wait another three or four weeks.Fish will be on the reefs and close to the beach at places like Turtle Creek and Wildwings.About nine miles closer to you than Port Clinton.I assume your boat is a bassboat.It should be ok on days with light winds.

thanks erie rebel i will take you up on that. any way i can save on gas will help.do you fish the maummee river basin? i never have but heard it is another hot spot.

i whet out last april on a 18, fish n ski and made it 1 mile out and got scared to death i had waves coming up over the front and crashing on the windshield i wont be scared this year i bought a 24' deep v cuddy so im doing some fishing i just hope i dont get lost i bought 2 gps units now just have to lern how to use them lol. rice
