Perch Western Basin
Tough bite today. Nothing really between the monument and Kellys. Nothing at Mouse. Any luck elsewhere anyone?

I was out there too yesterday with my MIL. Started in 19 fow with good marks from 2 weeks before. Nothing biting on the golden shiners. Moved to half way between F can and CI state Park in 25 fow. One charter next to us kept motor running and picked a few. Best marks I've seen in 2 weeks below us. In 2 hours took home 2 perch an 11 and 12 incher. Returned one young eye to lake.
Here's what I found out last 30 minutes. I put on 1/3 a nightcrawler on one hook and minnow on the other of a crappie rig. Both perch took the worm. The eye took the shiner. I missed 4 other bites on the worm all in last half hour. So, I'm taking more worms next time and putting them on earlier. It really was strange, there were 2 head boats and the charter next to us having very little success also. Great marks below us most of the time. The fish just didn't bite ours until I added the worm.
