Walleye near the islands?

Got a late start Sunday morning 8/9/20 and ran to the same spot east of Gull island shoal that we fished Thursday. Two fishermen, four rods, this time with all bandits. Got 3 nice fish in first 20 minutes then nothing. Made a few more passes and eventually got 5 more Walleye. We had a self imposed time limit and finished with those 8 Walleye all in the 22-23 inch range. Still very good marks in that area. Water depth 42-55 feet holding the fish. What worked for us: Bandits w/2 oz at 125 back total. Speed 2.4-2.6. Bandits- Chrome, Purple and Firetiger.

Were you running only 4 boards because it was easier, or because you didn't know that you can run three lines per person now? Nice job, and a nice grade of fish too.
