We launched at Mazurik at 6:30 today and headed north. The rain was coming and the wind was from the south. We made a pass from west To East fishing the trough until the wind became too strong we ran bandits all with natural colors due to low light conditions from 100 to 60 back 5 boards each side and we ran two dipsy divers on each side on 1 setting back 35 and 3 setting back 65 one side spoons and one side panther daggers. 2.0 to 2.3 was speed. We boated 12 on first pass then we went south to troll north with the wind and encountered a strong rain storm that had a wind change to out of the west. So we trolled with the wind to the East and picked up another dozen fish. The wind kept getting stronger and waves bigger. There where 3 to 4’ waves as we came back in. rough day on the lake we made it happen for this crew that drove a long way to fish on Erie.
