I will have live scope on my boat when I make my trip out there in May. I used it for the first time this year during our short ice season. It is amazing on the ice. I am interested to see how it works on a moving boat. I hope to be able to see dipsy divers and the spoon behind them. I wonder how the waves will effect this type of sonar. If I get a chance to to use it before my May trip I will report back.

I have not been to Erie yet but have used my livescope a couple times. I have not found it very useful in a trolling situation yet. It is very helpful in a vertical jigging. You can see fish shy away from different presentations. It is so detailed and looks at a fairly narrow window that when you are moving the information goes past so fast. I will try and learn more as time goes on.
