The action was fast n furious both Friday morning and this morning. I was only 1-1/2 miles north out of the portage river in 18 fow. Friday I did a lot of sorting and ended with 10 pounds at cleaners. I probably handled 75 perch in 2-1/2 hours. This morning I was done in 1-1/2 hours but had to settle for a bit smaller fish due to the steadily increasing waves. 8 pounds at cleaners. Due to the waves I would let the spreader lay on the bottom for 15 seconds or so before slowly lifting. Most of the time I had a perchy attached. Hopefully I will get 1 more trip up Tuesday.
