    Default West end walleye

So tonight we decided to launch out of Metzger's Marsh and go check on the walleye bite we've been hearing about. Everybody knows the walleye move back in front of Crane Creek this time of year so we started there in 22fow. Didn't take long and the boards started going back, had 2 in the box in the first 10 minutes, then a little dry spell. With the way this season spoiled us we don't mess around any more, so we decided to run back a little past our starting point, set up for another pass and immediately boards going back, put 8 more in the box, ran back one more time and done. Ended up catching 15 total in a little over 2 hours, threw back 3 that were legal but smaller, with the average size being around 21-22"s. [email protected]/52back

Prkr314 said on post he caught with bandit crankbaits. Was probably using inline boards 52ft back with no weight going 2.3mph speed. He did not post the color of his baits though.

peporter3, If your not familiar with the area that I was taking about, come out of the marsh about 3 miles towards the island and turn straight towards Bessie, they'll be somewhere in there.
