I first tried mivingbthevweights on mine.........which required cutting to stopper out and drilling new retaining hole.
I tried the rubber band instead of springs early on too.
With the new flags I like the spring. Flags work even in rough enough water to skip the boards........but when flat I can really loosen then up. And the arm relocation works so much better than moving the weights its not even funny. I can't quite turn as sharp as big board boats can, but they pull pretty hard.......hard enough you can't read my med rods when dinks are on.......which is why I like the flagsFirst mate for Eyehunter Charters
