I like a little lighter rod so I recommend med/light rod for divers. they are good rods that can stand up to the riggers of using divers. they have a 8' med/light rod at fishusa.com for 19.99. I don't like using stiff rods for divers because you can see when something better with the med/light rods. the reason I used diver instead of dipsy is because I switched to lite bite slide divers a fey yrs ago. and I just love the lite bite feature on them.
