Thread: Advice on Canadian walleye

With kids that age you need to have easy fish for them to catch,have fun and develop the desire to fish in the future.If you are relying on catching walleye in a deep inland like with no maps or structure,not even fun for dad.May need to relocate to a lake that has plentifull bluegills or perch in it and maybe some bass or northerns for dad to try his hand at.Good luck.

I hear ya about the easier options-but... We love it up in the sticks all by ourselves.. We catch some northerns and go for atv rides during the day and the kids go swimming in the lake with the water worms (leeches)... Just trying to find some people who can help get into the walleye so we can do shore lunches and stuff.... We are limited to early july bc of the black flies so going earlier when walley are biting better isnt an option
