Turtle Creek Shallow?
My low water alarm went off last Tuesday at mouth of Turtle Creek It read like 4.2 feet when I was right in the middle of channel just past (north of) the gas dock. I was plenty okay (admittedly I am not sure how well my unit is zeroed out) but know it was dredged a couple of years ago and same finder read quite a bit deeper than that. I should have been right in the deepest part.
Also noticed a lot of sand and gravel piled up on wall of the abandoned gas dock right in area we used to gas up.
Wondering if the last storm brought in a lot of silt. Water levels are high right now but if they go back to normal could be a problem and I don't think you want to drift much to the east...

I dock at Turtle Point Marina and you are correct. I went out today and the cut is narrow and very shallow. You definitely need to stay on the side of the active fuel dock. We need to be patient with two way traffic through there.
