just so you know, I love reading your posts. I hope your around for yrs to come. I like reading the fishing reports on this site and on ogf. it makes me feel like im up there fishing. we did make it up to Geneva for a week in july. but the wind and rain kept us off the lake a couple of days. but we fished 4 of those days. we fished harnesses the 1st 3 days with little action. the 4th day we switched to all spoons and increased our speed from 1.8 to 2.0 up to 2.8 to 3.0 and it was like day and night. we had 5 people in the boat but only run 6 lite bite slide divers. the water was rough and made running riggers a little to much. so we brought them in. it took 2 hrs to get our 1st 18 fish which would have been a limit with 3 people and 6 rods. then it took another 2 3/4 hrs to get the next 12. we had turned around after the 1st 18 and the catching slowed down. when we turned back around the catching had just started picking up when we got our 5 man limit. we released a few 15" + fish but had our limit of 16" to 22" fish. we got 2 extra bringing our rods in that we happily released. we ran our spoons at a 4.5 setting 150' and a 3 setting 125' and a 1.5 setting 100' back. caught fish on all rods. we caught our fish in 58' to 65' straight north of the harber and trolled west for our best fishing. once the bite slowed we went east at a much slower pace until we turned and went back west.
