I had garmin tr-1 on my grady white 208. It was the best option on the boat, including the mates, rods, and itroll ! I sold boat and wouldn't think of going out on lake in my new boat without garmin a.p. Just push a couple buttons and you can make a 5,10,15 or 30 minute circle, port or starboard. Zig_zag, figure 8, man overboard, navigate from anywhere to any where. Or, just hold course while you troll on or travel to or from. Very easy to use . Idiot proof. Don't hesitate...do it. You won't regret it.
