Hi-Way Bait Tackle
Bought shiners at hi way as I've been doing for years. Price went up to $5/scoop, which I can understand but I'm completely shocked with how few minnows they gave me. Each scoop has about 12-15 minnows, so my $30 gave me around 60 shiners. Will definitely look for other options before going back

I agree. 3 scoops gave me about 3 or 4 dozen

Wow! Richards had small shiners but I'll bet they gave me 3-4 dozen per scoop easily.

I have been in there 3-4 times the last couple weeks. Depends who is working, but I agree you don't get many. They say how many people fishing, and they say will you need one more scoop "for the boat." Supply and demand. Expensive fishing.

Have bought shiners once in the last 2 years and that was last week. I didn't do any better with them than goldies. We have caught many many limits with them. I fish out of Turtle Creek and get my bait at what use to be St. Clairs. Very good count and 11 dollars plus change for 3 scoops.
