Perch and Walleye 8/20
two of us fished for perch near water intake 8am- 9, only one perch caught. Moved out NW of West Sister, no perch caught there. Started trolling same area. started with spoons and bandets. switched to all bandets. caught 4 walleye, 2 keepers on bandets 80' to 90' back plus one perch, trolling about 3 hours at 2.5 to 2.7 mph. Fishing slow for others per discussions back at ramp.
Algie fairly bad NW of W sister, not as bad at water intake Perhaps should have gone further east on lake. was relatively calm on lake.

Fished same area NW of West Sister for walleye. Two of us trolled using planer boards with all bandits 120' to 140' back going same....2.5 to 2.7. Caught 8 nice keepers before the wind died. When that happened it looked like the algae all coagulated to the surface and made a carpet of green. Didn't catch anything else until the wind picked up again.
