50 + nice walleye
Casting weapons and weight forward spinners from the gravel pit to out near the turnaround bouy. Yes sir, they were all very nice. None of them bit me when I unhooked them and most of them didn't even take my worm. I think they just knew I was fishing alone and figured they would come aboard for a minute and say hello. I've never met a nicer bunch of fish. I'm sure they will all change their attitude once they get big enough to be put in the cooler. Ugh! My first fish was 10 seconds after my lure hit the water around 6 am and measured 15 1/4 ". That was my fish of the day! Lol. I'm glad I threw him back so I didn't end the day with one dead barely legal eye. Algae got much worse as the day went on and the wind died.
I'm gonna miss her.... ....Maybe not so much, now that she left
