Catching emerald shiners
I'm coming up for a few days and thought I might try catching a few shiners at night. I have a light I was thinking of dropping in the water by the dock then using like an umbrella net. Will it work? Thanks for any input.

Yes. it will work.. If the shiners are there.. I caught a bunch of them a week ago, I used a cast net and could have filled a tanker truck . lol
