6/2 Another Great Nite!
Left East Harbor with a buddy and his daughter around 5:30 and headed out for the 3 minutes ride to the pack of boats N. of Lakeside. Lots of marks at all depths. Ran Bandits 45 - 65 back an had a lot of fun sorting thru 14.5 inchers, and some 15's that were just too close to keep but we did get some nice keepers. Ran one harness with a 1 oz. wt. and caught lots of smalls also but after one small had one a little deepin the throat I switched it out for a Bandits to prevent damaging any throwbacks.
Our largest was 25" and a few 18" to 20" to bring home out of over 20 fish in 2 hours. and we were handicapped by a lot of net snags. Lots of boats casting, some trolling, like us, and nets in the air everywhere. Good Clean Fun!!!
It seemed anything with pink was the color and DJ's Victoria Secret was HOT HOT HOT!!! Hope the eyes hang out there for a few days.
Finally, some Beautiful Fishing Weather!!! Cheers!
