Agree the free apps are the best was to see what's actually going on out on the lake. WindAlert is what I have and its associated with the other apps people mention. A tip, the app asks you right away to let you always use your location. If you have an iPhone you can answer this anyway you'd like, than go into the app's setting and select to have it know your location only when it's open. No idea why it always wants to know your location...

Agree that NOAA forcast is not worth looking at.We,be been using Iwindsurf for several years now and glad to have it.Very important for safety with a 17' boat.The most productive technique to catch walleye in late May would be to troll with worm harness.Water still not warm enough for the casters to be most productive.Possible the large number of smaller walleye can make casting during your weekend productive.Will be a very busy weekend on the lake so will see packs of boats fishing.Sometimes the numerous boats will shut down a bite,so don't count on those packs catching fish.
