Sad news about D.D.E.
I am sad to report that Dennis D. Eitle passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on 1/31/17. I stopped to see him a few weeks ago as he showed me all the improvements and equipment he had added to his older Lund Pro-V in anticipation of the upcoming walleye fishing for 2017. I know D.D.E. really enjoyed all your posts, as well as the individual advice some of you shared. You can see his obit at secorfuneralhomes.com.

This is so sad to hear! I met DDE last fall for a Perch trip, but my boat would not cooperate. He helped me get it on the trailer and a few other things. I was looking forward to getting him out for walleye trolling this coming season. Thoughts and prayers for friends and family.

Thank you for the update. Dang that is sad/bad news.
I having been waiting on Dennis to let me know when he would be able to do a road trip with me. He was interested in going to some of the tackle shops I frequent here in MI. I was going to set up his new boards plus spend a day talking fishing. We only talked by phone, I never got to meet him in person.I can only hope I have earned the freedom that has been given me.

This is very sad news, I have also spoke with Dennis by phone numerous times and have exchanged emails with discussing boat updates and fishing or course. I also had not met him personally but planned to hook up with him during the upcoming fishing season. I know he was very excited about trolling this year with his newly purchased Terrova.
I have definitely lost a friend, very sad!
