Columbus Fishing Expo

I went last year, 2016. It's a typical kind of outdoor / fishing show but not as big as the Big City Outdoors Shows. But it's growing, which is the goal. Looks like it will be bigger this year. Exhibitors include US and Canadian fishing camps and guide services, destination travel bureaus, fishing and boating equipment manufacturers and retail outfits, specialty item(s) retail, some related booths such as outdoor clothing and general supplies/gear, conservation and outdoor education related organizations, outdoor media, and Lake Erie and other waters Charter Boat and Guide services. Plus a few that defy a category. There weren't many boats there last year due to space, the smaller specialty fishing boats. They have the usual seminars and talks given by local, regional, and national experts. Also some side attractions like a kids zone and I think a "Hawg Trough" with live fish.

It's worth the time / trip, especially if you have some cabin fever. You never know what you may find or learn. Some of the people on this site were there last year, so you may meet some of the posters on here. A fun little trip but again not a huge show - yet.
