If you have a Minnow sane there are plenty of shiners up the Sandusky river, you just have to go get them. Believe me shiners work better than goldies.

With all the small walleye in the lake the last two years one should expect a corresponding effect on their forage species. Just another example of the dynamic Lake Erie. Every season is different, from slightly to dramatic. Enjoy the fishing when it's great. When it's not, remember that's part of the dynamic. No matter how well a given day's recreation on the Lake goes, we all should remember what a great resource we have in Lake Erie.
