Perch bait
Is it legal to use cut up bluegill if they are from a farm pond? and use them in lake Erie.
I use cut up bluegill in my own pond to catch perch in it.
Thanks Dennis

Cut bait is legal to use in Ohio,
However I do not think you can cut bait and then throw the left-overs overboard. I believe there are some regulations regarding the use of tadpoles, frogs, and live game fish, but I am not certain. The tri-state area has a lot of rules and to try to know them all is tough.
Here is a link that reflects that cut bait is legal to use. and a link of popular baits legal to use in which bluegill is listed. In my own perspective, I think bluegill is to soft so it wont last to long, but I am sure it works.
