Question
Recently retired. Yaaa. Got the boat I have always wanted - Lund 1850 impact. I am in the Cincinnati area but am really eager to get to Lake Erie. Got the boat outfitted with 2 Cannon Magnum10 STX downriggers.
Looking for help with where to launch, where to fish (general area) and preferred baits/lures. I will reciprocate by letting everyone know where and what I catch (I hope).
Hearing a lot about bandits but no idea what they are. Crawler harnesses I have but unsure how far back folks troll with them, speed, etc. Downriggers, dipsy divers or planer boards? I do not have planer boards yet but am looking for recommendations on which boards are most popular and effective.
Thank you in advance for any assistance. I appreciate the help.
