Great Post Matt!!!
I have never been more impressed with a fishing community as much as Lake Erie. Whether on this site, charter captains, or even folks coming in from the launch I've never met folks so willing to share info, tactics, or tips!
I've never been one to be afraid to approach someone and ask " how did u guys do?" , not just for info, but sometimes simply just to engage fellow sportsmen and women, just to hear their stories or sometimes share a laugh.
Thanks to all for making this a great, fun fishery!

Welcome aboard Boo!
I'll take a stab at some answers for ya.
What does "TT" mean?
True Trip Divers
What is the difference between Big Boards and Offshores?
Generally but not all the time big boards are ran by bigger boats and the boards themselves are much longer and wider (made from two pieces of wood or plastic composite) than the Offshores which are a lot smaller. The big boards utilize a mask or reel system of heavy line from the boat to snubbers ahead of the boards to run rod and reel lines out on via clips and rubberbands. The smaller Offshore boards clip right on to a rod and reel lines. Google is your friend if this isn't clear
When someone says 30/30 program, what does that mean?
These are part of the lead terms, for this example lets say we are using perfect ten lures. The first number is how many feet of line out before you stop it to install various forms of weights then the second number would be the amount of line let out before you stopped it clip it to a board.
I hope this helpsLast edited by Fishonphil; 05-03-2016 at 01:49 PM.

Sure does answer my questions! An your explanation of Big Boards was spot on...Actually I remember being on a charter that was using them. It was the first time I saw somthing like that and seriously thought to myself "Wow those are big boards" not thinking that was the actual terminology!
