Smallmouths?
I know this is walleye.com, but anybody fishing for smallies? I am a walleye fisherman as well as a huge bass fisherman and just wondering if anyone is catching 'em, where, and when. I might just catch my limit of walleye-not likely but hoping-this weekend and try to find 'em.

The next warm spell should get them fired up. When there is a 5-10 degree spike in water temp and it is in the 50-55 degree range. Per Al Linder.

Thanks Spoontang. Last Friday night, water temp. was 50. Next Saturday morning, water temp. was 42 to 45 depending on area. I was surprised, water temp. fluctuated quite a bit over 12 hours. I can't wait to catch some monster bronzebacks, even though it's still Walleye Season.
