How big are the shiners that you are tipping your jigs with? Will be coming up on the 25th of this month for a few days but usually fish in June. Do you have any suggestions?

To firetiger
You are right, it is not in the regs. He is wrong. If I am not keeping over my daily limit, how could I not be a sportsman???????????????? I catch all my fish by legal means and never go over my limit, yet guys that cannot catch fish like I can are jealous and call me names and make ugly acusastions about my character. After this spring, I need a new electric fillet knife, wore mine out, and a larger freezer. Anyone know where they have them on sale??? I am looking for a 25 or 26 cu ft. chest freezer. i would be intrested in a used one if anyone has one for sale.

I touched on this earlier regarding "limits and possesion" and I called the office ODNR fish and game and was advised there is no possesion limit. Only a daily limit while actively fishing. I posted the phone number I called with the information I was given. This is always a sensative subject. I prefer catch and consume or catch a release but I really can't complain about anybody following the law. Just be safe out there. The lake is tricky this time of year. Good luck to all.

You can read the debate in the ????? thread or call 419-625-8026 and get all questions answered by the ODNR.

It sure seems like a tall tale. 500 already? Great for him I guess. He sure sounds like he is trying to get us all going. We all know the type and probably are stuck working beside them or somewhere in our lives. It is just not worth it. If the ODNR suspects foul play, they can get his info from this site and investigate him. I saw that on another site I belong to. Oh well. I would love to see pictures. I learned a long time ago, if I was going to brag, I better back it with pictures.

drake,
You really need to work on your spelling and puncuation. You show your ignorance by the way you try to communicate with others. The "captains" you know aren't very good if they haven't caught at least 500 walleye this year. I fish everyday with 5 or 6 other people. I know my bsiness out there. I can catch fish when 99.99% of others are getting zero. Please, instead of fishing, go back to grammar school and get an education.
