trolling
I troll with my 19 ft boat. I have a 150 yamaha 4 stroke motor. You should buy a happy troller device that attaches to the lower shaft of the motor. The best for trolling without a seperate trolling motor. I use planner boards. I troll with worm harnesses and nite crallers.. I attach a 3/4 oz bell sinkerabout two feet above the harness. In 28 ft. of water, I let out 100 ft. of line and then attach the board. On the inside boards use less line out such as 80 ft... use different types of spinners as hatchet, colorado and blade. Happy fishing...

Just a thought
I troll too. here's a way to grow your boat. Use 4 oz. bottom bouncers with worn harness off port and starboard bow rod holders. I also use a barrel swivel 4' up from the lure to remove line kink.

trolling
Last year I bought that happy troller and it did work well. my boats 18 and I have a 75 hp e tec. After a year of abuse, the flap was starting to crack and flex from the strain and the line was pretty beatin up. fishcrazycharters.com trolls and pulld a drift sock over the side tied to the cleats. Says that it adds side to side stability. So I bought a small one and am going to try it this year
