looking for a new walleye net
I have a rubber net with 4' handle, its ok, but some fish bounce out and I really need a longer handle, maybe 6'. Telescoping would be nice for storeage. Whats working well for everyone here?

Re: looking for a new walleye net
I got the new type rubber net from Ego last year. I got the deep net in the large size. but it may still be a little small for fish 5# or more. but it is so much deeper and lighter than old style rubber nets. I also have the coated nylon net in a larger size than their largest net. but it was a custom made net. the EX-Large net is 24X27 I believe and it will handle large walleye.
as for my handle, I have the 48X108 and the 29X60 inch. for one person I recommend the 29X60 handle with the PVC coated X-large nylon net or the large deep rubber net. but the 48X108 will still work.

Don't know how far you are from Happy Hooker at Turtle Creek, but they have them in stock. You can buy a plain black for less than the red, white, and blue
