manual downrigger mounting bracket replacement

Hi everyone,
I've got a quick question to you folks. A friend of mine recently gave me his manual downrigger which he did not need. It's in good condition, yet somehow he broke the tilt-up bracket. So I was wondering, maybe there is a way to replace it with something compatible? I've got no idea where I can buy one separately, as Scotty does not ship the holders separately, and noone sells one on ebay... Any ideas on how to fix it? Thanks.
