Steelhead update
I had the boat home but this morning was too nice to sit and watch football so I hooked up with my old friend Bob Hineman, dragged the Holly Lucas (20 ' Proline) back to the Conneaut shipping channel and limited out before noon. 1/2 ounce KO Wobblers with orange on any pattern did the trick. 24 inch to 27 inch silver fish were flying out of the water and running under the boat but one of them will be on my table tonight. To winterize or not to winterize? That is the question.....

New update: After spending $600 to bring everything up to snuff on my 150 E-Tec, we hit the Conneaut shipping channel this morning and the action was fast and furious. Water temp 43.6 F and stained but everything was the same as my last thread. We had 12 hookups before noon trolling north and south at 1.9 to 2.1 mph. I predict things won't change in the near future so what are you waiting for? The fun is in the fight. You don't have to eat them if you don't like them but I am heating up the outside grill as we speak. There is plenty of room and plenty of fish to go around so why not join us....?
