Some guys seem to have a lot of luck with gulp, not me and I have wasted a lot of money figuring out gulp does not work for me. A few times running rubber worms I have had success but not many. One friend gets a 3 man limits out of a dozen crawler. He uses long shank single hook harnesses, splits each crawler into 3 pieces, pushes a piece of worm onto and up over the hook/knot, he leaves a bit of the snelled hook mono tail sticking out to help keep the crawler on, then threads on a rubber worm up to the piece of crawler. He has great success doing that. I find that a PIA and running real crawlers I typically get bigger fish so it is a trade off I guess.
I can only hope I have earned the freedom that has been given me.
Try Gulp purple/ split tail , buddy used last wed when he ran out of crawlers, they worked for him, he was trolling/ bottom bouncers.
I tried the new Berkley crawler made for worm harness.Had good success, they stay on the hook very well and the fish [all fish] like em'.Just be careful not to get the liquid in the jar on any carpet and wipe up all spills and drips. It may stain.
