I'm hoping to get out again too, but man, weather sure doesn't look like it wants to cooperate. Thinking maybe I shoulda pulled my boat and got that out of the way....
Fall sure wasn't what we were hoping for was it...
My thought exactly Sunday was my only trip in the last 6 weeks due to the slow bite. I will be pulling my boat next week after replacing the equilizers and spring eye bushings on the trailer nothing like waiting till the Last minute. Then it's time to go to the woods try to put some meat in the freezer stay safe out there.
Thanks Matt
If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles.
Weather was very nice for a change, very light winds south of G can using shiners, spreaders, no bling, in 20 fow.
Two of us and 3.5 hours produced 22 pounds at the cleaners.
Hope to get out one more time,

60 more perch, 3.5 hours south of G can, very calm day.
Using spreaders, shiners, no bling in 20 fow.
Maybe one more trip if weather can be nice.
Anyway it has bee a good safe season.

sorry for the three posts~!
web site had some issues when I was trying to post the results of fishing, and when they fixed the issue all the attempted posts were added!
feet dry now and Water Dog will be at a new marina next year.
Lakefront is putting in new docks in the channel and they are all 35 foot~! So smaller boats have a choice to make and I have voted with my feet.
This year has been great for the hatchery and the years to come should be better for it.
My best and see you all in the spring

Repairs needed for Water Dog, after that it's on!
When jigging for walleye, I also fish a perch spreader and drag it on the bottom, tipped with minnows.

I like that Perch spreader idea. Thanks for that tip.
Do you drag the spreader for perch in particular or to Target walleye. It's looking like I'm on the water next Thursday or Friday!!
