fishing by catawba

Hey guys moved my boat to marble head at anchors away and i am wondering were to fish for walleyes over here i have heard behind kellys island right now but tired of having bad fishing days. I did catch the crap out of shep head the other day. Also is it ttime to start using harnesses and weight forward spinners. Any help would be appiciated.

I use to dock at Anchors Away.....Nice place. Bought a place next door on Catawba with it's own dock. Up the shoot, behind Kelleys (gull shoal) and Middle island can all be good this time of year. Drifting or trolling produces the best for me. Dipsy and Jet divers 1.8-2.2 mph 28-32 fow the best. You will see the marks on your depth finder adjust lure depth as needed. Good luck!
