Mazurik perch

Went out of mazurik yesterday on the hunt for perch. Ramp open, no docks, cleaning station closed, 20 rigs in the lot. Sign on the door of Highway "closed today and tomorrow for fishing show".
Got shiners at fisherman central.

38° air 33° water overcast light NE wind.
Searched from east harbor to marble head lighthouse, then dumping grounds and beyond. Nothing. Covered 5' and weedy to 42'.

Seemed everyone else was trolling.

How do you get in and out of the boat without a dock?

Launch with someone in the boat, don't pull away until motor is running. There are 2 permanent concrete courtesy docks with steel ladders, get picked up and dropped off there.

Otherwise climb over the bow from the trailer
