Fished the area between F can east towards the Jet Express route. Dragging the spreader in search of Yellow Perch.
Using a spreader with shiners *no bling* and worm harness. No yellow perch, however the white perch were in the area including a few sheep head. All the head boats in Port Clinton were also working that area East and West of F can.
The head boats were spread out and working the area with no major moves, so they must have been picking at them.
Walleye were nice eaters had 5 that need a few more inches to be keepers.
Bring plenty of night crawlers, those white perch really put a hurt on your bait~!
I have been out working the H can and G can area, however this is the first time I had scored some fish to report.
Tight lines and back soon.

Water Dog so glad you are back! Instead of fishies this spring my catch was a rare autoimmune disease. Not the spring nor the catches I had planned! In hospital now for 4th time and 21st day in last 3 months. So my boat is in storage and my fishing is is dreaming through everyone’s posts. Driving me up the walls. Off to OSU specialists next week and hope they have a treatment that will get me on the water yet this summer… and before the water fleas shut the bite down again! And get my boat in water some way since sat all of last year too due to Covid. Tight lines, following seas, and keep the reports coming.
