January Pier fishing?

im thinking about trying metzgers pier going to be 60 whats the best bait and time to go

Yes, its really that simple. Just throw a floating crank and reel slowly. I use a HJ14 and reel slow but enough to just break below the surface. But of course the fish need to be there.
