Anybody fishing near Catawba area recently

Fishe'd south of g today, 2 man limit and a bonus eye at 17". Mostly 9s. had 4 12s. Tossed back a few shorts and 4 of the largest white bass I have ever caught. They out weighted the 2 lb walleye with ease

I was out there today too in the red fish and ski and my brother was in the aluminum boat next to me. We both got our limit of 60 fish. My 60 went 19 lbs and my brothers went 17lbs at cleaners. I had 5 short walleyea and my brother had 6 short walleye. It was a nice steady bite once my anchor finally bit into the bottom. Looking to head back out on Friday morning with my two boys 6 & 8 yrs old(parent teacher conferences). Hopefully another fun filled day like today bc I think it will be the last trip this year.

Got ours NE of Gull shoal can today, Tues Nov 2nd. Four guys. 112 fish but had to leave before we could finish last 8. Very nice fish. Went 3.1 to the lb at the cleaners. What a beautiful day for this time of year. Good fish. Good weather. Good friends. Doesn't get any better than this!
