    was out perch fishing yesterday , pretty rough for a 14' boat with 2 200# guys in it. Ended up with 52 perch also caught 3 walleye that were released. The walleye were caught on crappie rigs with the first 2 caught as a double! Seems like it might be a good year for 'eyes.

    Best perch bite I am aware of has been NW of Dunkirk harbor in 40-55 FOW. Marked some big schools there while walleye trolling last weekend. Several boats were anchored over schools there perch fishing.
