good or bad ice locations are in order

Thanks eyehunter had a feeling it was the nuke plant but didn't put two and two together on pub, thanks again, also may be hitting the ice solo which I'd rather not do if anyone wouldn't mind a tag along I'd appreciate it thanks again

PIB is Put in Bay / Bessie is the nuclear power plant close to camp perry.

Guys ice isn't going to be the problem next week, traveling on it is going to be the problem. There is 2 feet of frozen and compacted snow on top of the ice. When it's cold you drive on top of it with no problems. When it starts to warm up this weekend that frozen snow will quickly turn to slush. Quad travel will be pretty much impossible. Sleds will get a few more days, but the slush takes it's toll on them as well. If you are planning to make a long drive next week you might want to have a back up plan ( airboat guide ).

I'm talking next weekend now, air boat guide anyone know about what they charge for that and maybe a number to call

Large crack from nuke plant heading north east then splits off in two separate directions gos north and east about 7 miles off shore. It was about a 4 foot or better crack went for quit a distance didn't want to wait time looking for away around headed back to cp.
