Water Dogs~ Perch Report

south of sugar 30 fow, 44 yellow perch 14# pounds at the cleaners.
could not manage to get the last 16
~NICE DAY~ we started the day with about 15 white perch, some sheep head and then the yellows moved in.
few throw backs, steady and a very light bite.

Just east of "H" can in 17 fow, 8#'s at the cleaners, some sorting. Had to go fishing given the nice day that it was. Left work and was fishing by 12:30pm. Did do some sorting, and did catch a few white perch. Was done by 3pm.

Well, the "H" can did not do it for me today. Moved to deeper water and a no go. The lake was like glass. Really nice day on the lake.
About 10 throw backs.

I will have a perch report as soon as I can try my honey hole by "H" can.
And a Walleye report too.

caught my limit of walleye and went to the honey hole at "H" can, it is too early, no bites and not even a gobie~!
~they are shooten at camp perry so look out for the range rangers.....

That will be going on weekends for the next month and a half. Easter weekend will be clear. National Guard Units are doing weapons qualifications. Should slow down by June.

Caught really nice perch at H can on Sunday.
Spreaders, shiners, no bling and on the bottom.
Biggest was a 13 1/2 incher
Some sorting but not much.
A very soft bite, I had to watch the tip closely to get them set.
Windy to start the day with some big waves, then it settled down in the afternoon.

39 Perch ~ 15 pounds at the cleaners... yes they are nice.
The wind really pushed us around at times but it may have help with our spreaders and the big swing.
Spreaders, shiners, on the bottom and never any bling.
Anyway.... this looks to be my last day on the lake.
I have not been able to fish as much as I would have like because of a death in the family.
So until next year I hope you and yours will be safe and get ready for another season in the spring.
