I was all over that area dropped anchor 5 times got 1 10" perch from there! lol

Got 5 nice Perch on Friday oh boy how exciting was that!!!

Seems that it's usually this time of year the bell buoy off cedar point would be happening , anyone over there try it yet ?? Probably full of nets close to shore though. Good fishin all, Mike

BLACK PEARL. I dont know where u were perchin at, but between green and rattle was the happenin spot yesterday. We were a bit closer to green and by ourselves east of the pack that built up around 10oclock. 3 of us ended up w 81. From 8 oclock til 1. But 1 guy only got 8 perch and me and buddy got the most of em. Very light biters for sure. At 11oclock we had 68 and in them last 2 hours they did shut down on us. Good luck

Made 5 different stops around the firing range didn't even get enough for a meal. Junk wasn't even biting all that well either. Probably only caught maybe a dozen junk fish. A long boring day.

Guess we made the right decision this weekend to stay put at home. Sounds like the eyes are goin good to the East, but everyone , except way east, was stuggling to get a good meal of perch. The bugs won't last long and the little guys will be hungry again, and the best part is their gaining weight !!!. Got knee surgery coming 1st week of august after NY trip so might get a lot of perchin done after scooting down ramp feet first. Good fishin all, Mike
