yes lead is run on the boards, I have two rods with five color, one with six, and another with seven, they do run off boards well, also I try weight to be the same on each side of boat than change as needed so one side may run deeper.

yes, a five color set up is all colors out plus 50-75' and than hooked to the board, six is just going a little deeper and seven more, about five ft. per color.

Nope its going to be little to rough for or boat butcher given her couple more weeks and that will be it I think
