Always tomorrow took the rest of the week off a few sheepshead and a walleye definitely beats the office!

Fishon51, his buddy Don, Capt. Jim Steel, and I fished from 7:30 am until 12:00 pm ( I had to work the Weigh Station at SP.) We boxed 6 and had 1 weigher. We fished in the mud off 18 mile, the fish started to turn on at 10:30 for us. My uncle fished the same area and ended up with 22 total with 2 weighers.

Do the fish get wetter when it rains??

I'm sure glad I took the week off to fish. Bailey is the smart one - he found out that I was off this week for the tournament and he decided to work. He figured correctly on the weather. It must be me.
The only thing that is good is that the lake is filling up.
I don't think the fish get wetter. They probably go on a feeding frenzy because there are not many hooks in the water with jerks on the other end trying to catch them.

Are you guys using harnesses, stick baits or spoons? Just wondering . Whatever it is, it seems to be working! Keep it going.

slow go for us last nite 2 at the old hole/ made a move late picked up 3 fast ones at new spot
